In a report in 2012, the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) to enter the city of Zurichto the first order in the list of top ten most expensive cities in the world.
One of the city in Switzerlandis superior to otherfamous cities, such as Oslo, Paris, Frankfurtand Geneva.

Based on my experience venturing into the five cities, Zurich is the city with the cost of living is very expensive, for example regarding the cost of staying in hostels and food prices. Even so, you can still save money by buying food at shops selling cheap goods and food, such as Coop and Migros.

Zurich is more nuanced German city lifestyle in a timely and detail of doing things. Zurich residents did come from Germany before the European broken up into several small countries.

As a result, the main language in Zurich also with the German language Swiss-German dialect.
What is interesting in Zurich? If you visit here, enjoy the beauty of Lake Zurich. When spring, the lake is filled with seagulls are flying. From a distance it looks Alps mountains covered with white snow, so charming when captured by the camera.

You must visit Fraumunster Church, Gothic-style church once iconic old city of Zurich. Not far from the church, the Catholic church stands Groosmunter.

When you want to enjoy the beautiful view of the city, you can climb Linderhof, an old fortress on a hilltop against the Limmat River.

Well, for the backpacker, I recommend to stay in Old Town. Old Town is an ancienttown which was very crowded at night time. Many restaurant and discotheque here are open until late at night. This place is a paradise for tourists backpack. Prices are relatively cheap hostel, also lined lot Migros and Coop stores to shop.

Zurich city is very small and can be enjoyed on foot. A few days there, I've seen almost all the places of interest. Beyond that, I feel poor when visiting Zurich and was forced to consider every dollar is well spent.
